NBA Top Shot This: Zion Williamson nearly breaks the backboard with a ferocious block on Donte DiVincenzo

NBA Top Shot is a blockchain-based platform that allows fans to buy, sell and trade numbered versions of specific, officially-licensed video highlights from NBA games. You can read more on NBA Top Shot here if you're interested.

These specific moments we select are not associated with NBA Top Shot and will not necessarily be made into a real Top Shot moment. This is simply to highlight some of the best plays in a given night that we believe could be deserving of a special Top Shot moment.

So without further ado, your NBA Top Shot Moment of the day...

#NBATopShotThis: Zion's huge block on DiVincenzo

We have a feeling this won't be the last time Zion wins this award and to be honest, we feel kind of bad that this highlight comes on Donte DiVincenzo who posted a career night for the Milwaukee Bucks but it is what it is.

On a night where Williamson poured in 34 points to go with eight rebounds and six assists, we are heading to the defensive end for the highlight of the night.

Putting the ball on the floor, DiVincenzo falsely believed there was only daylight between him and the basket on this play. Using his jaw dropping explosiveness, Zion spiked the attempted lay-up off the backboard so hard, it was ultimately collected by Giannis Antetokounmpo on the 3-point line.

Due to his ability to produce highlight plays on both ends of the floor, Williamson is one of the most popular players on the Top Shot platform, with another trademark block from January 2020 on the market for greater than $200,000 (usd)!!

Zion is a fan favourite and a highlight machine, which all leads to money when it comes to the world of NBA Top Shot. You can add tonight's block to the growing list of moments that will be cherished if they reach the growing platform.
