#NBATogetherLive: LeBron James scores final 25 points to lead Cavaliers to 2OT win over Pistons in 2007 playoffs

In Game 5 of the 2007 Conference Finals, LeBron James turned in a signature playoff performance to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 109-107 double-overtime win over the Detroit Pistons.

With 6:05 remaining in the fourth quarter, James had just 19 points with the Cavs in front 79-78, before completely taking over the game.

The then 22-year-old went on to score 29 of Cleveland's final 30 points in a 16-minute stretch, including the team's final 25 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the field.

His driving dunk with nine seconds to go in regulation sent the game into overtime, before sealing the win in double-overtime with a driving layup with 2.2 seconds left.

"We threw everything we had at him," Pistons guard Chauncey Billups said of James post-game. "We just couldn't stop him."

The Pistons were the fifth-ranked team in defensive rating during the regular season, but that mattered for little as James found a multitude of ways to score - burying jumper after jumper, finishing at the rim and beyond the arc.

He finished with a playoff career-high 48 points on 18-of-33 from the field, adding nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. The only other Cavs player to score during James stretch was Drew Gooden, who made a free-throw with 2:49 left in the fourth quarter.

"Why should I be surprised? I was making a lot of great moves," James said. "They are definitely a great defensive team, but I was determined to attack."

Cleveland closed out the series with a 98-82 win in Game 6, before being swept in the NBA Finals by the San Antonio Spurs.
