NBA teams, players and coaches react to Vince Carter's retirement

On Thursday, Vince Carter announced his retirement.

It brings an end to an incredible NBA career, one that spans a record-setting four decades. It started with the Toronto Raptors, where Carter became a household name, and ended with the Atlanta Hawks, where he served as a mentor on one of the NBA's up-and-coming teams. He earned eight All-Star selections and two All-NBA selections along the way.

In wake of his announcement, the NBA community came together to congratulate Carter on his career.
