The NBA Summer League schedule kicks off on July 1st as the Salt Lake City Summer League and California Classic get underway.

Both leagues will run from July 1st to the 3rd as an appetizer for the Las Vegas Summer League which kicks off July 5th to the 15th.

Salt Lake City Summer League

The Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs will participate in this year's SLC Summer League.

Each team will play each other once at the Vivint Smart Home Arena – home of the Utah Jazz.

No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft Darius Garland will make his NBA debut for the Cavs at the SLC Summer League. He headlines a Cavs roster that features Kevin Porter Jr. (USC), Marques Bolden (Duke) and Canadian Naz Mitrou-Long. Mitrou-Long spent last season as a two-way player with the Jazz organization.

The Memphis Grizzlies roster will feature Japanese born Yuta Watanabe, Ivan Rabb (California) and Canadian Simi Shittu (Vanderbilt).

The Spurs SLC Summer League roster may be the most intriguing as its led by Lonnie Walker IV, Chimezie Metu and five-year veteran Thomas Robinson. Croatian Rookie Luka Samanic will also get his first taste of NBA action in Salt Lake.

All eyes will be on big man Tony Bradley for the Jazz. Bradley has played in just 12 NBA games and spent most of last season with Utah's G League team, the Salt Lake City Stars. Jazz fans are hoping Bradley can finally take the leap and earn a spot on the regular roster in 2019-2020.

The California Classic will feature three teams from the state of California; The Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings along with the Miami Heat.

All games will be played at the Golden1 Center, home of the Kings.

The Heat will roll out a roster that features their 13th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft Tyler Herro. Herro will be joined by Duncan Robinson and Yante Maten, Miami’s two two-way contract players from last season. Undrafted Canadian Kyle Alexander will also make his NBA debut for the Heat in Sacramento.

The Warriors are giving Jimmer Fredette another chance at making the NBA this summer. He'll lead the Golden State Summer League roster after spending the last three years in China playing in the CBA for the Shanghai Sharks. He was named an All-Star in the CBA three straight seasons, led the league in scoring this past season and was named the league's International MVP in 2017.

The Lakers' roster is highlighted by 2019 Draft pick Talen Horton-Tucker. Marcus Allen and Jeff Carroll also join the roster after spending last season with the South Bay Lakers in the G League. Electric guard Joe Young will also try to impress the Lakers brass with roster spots up for grabs after they made the trade to acquire Anthony Davis.

The host Kings have the most recognizable roster with Marvin Bagley III set to start his sophomore season in the NBA. Frank Mason III, Caleb Swanigan, rookie Bryce Brown and National Champion Kyle Guy will all be on display for the hometown crowd.
