Salt Lake City Summer League

Memphis Grizzlies 81, Cleveland Cavaliers 68

Keenan Evans put in an impressive performance off the bench for the Memphis Grizzlies, scoring 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting to lead them past the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 22-year-old guard added three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 18 minutes.

Memphis led at the end of all four quarters, controlling the game on the glass as they out-rebounded the Cavs 47-29, including 11-3 on the offensive glass.

Utah Jazz 84, San Antonio Spurs 81

The Utah Jazz hung on to beat the San Antonio Spurs after nearly letting an early lead slip.

Utah led by as many as 17 points after racing out to an early 27-13 lead in the first quarter, before Lonnie Walker IV helped mount a comeback in the second half.

Walker scored 14 of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter and had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, with his three-point attempt bouncing off the backboard.

Second round pick Miye Oni led the way for the Jazz with 17 points (11 in the first quarter), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block, while Jarrell Brantley added 16 points and six rebounds. Big man Willie Reed chipped in 14 points, 16 rebounds and two assists in the win.

California Classic

Miami Heat 76, Golden State Warriors 65

After a quiet first three quarters, Tyler Herro found his shooting stroke in the fourth quarter to lead the Miami Heat to a comfortable win over the Golden State Warriors.

The #13 pick in the draft, scored 13 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter on an efficient 4-of-7 shooting from the field, digging into his bag of tricks for some highlight reel jumpers:

Kendrick Nunn, who played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League last season, was a force on both ends, disrupting the Warriors with his pesky defence. He added 11 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter, chipping in three assists and two steals.

Los Angeles Lakers 99, Sacramento Kings 97

Zach Norvell Jr. was the hero on Day 3, knocking down the game-winning three-pointer with four seconds remaining to give the Lakers the win in a thriller.

The late triple capped a 9-0 run for the Lakers, who trailed 97-90 with 1:21 remaining after trailing by as many as 21 points in the game.

Norvell finished with 11 points and eight assists on the night, while Jordan Howard led the way with 25 points (17 in the fourth quarter) and Nick Perkins 20.

For the Kings, Wenyen Gabriel, led them in scoring with 16 points and five rebounds, while Kyle Guy chipped in 14 points and four rebounds.
