Canadian Nickeil Alexander-Walker put on a show in his Summer League debut, helping the New Orleans Pelicans cruise to a 109-72 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The 17th pick in the draft finished with 23 points, eight assists, three triples, three steals and two blocks, showing flashes of his supreme playmaking skills, finding big man Jaxson Hayes with some highlight-reel dimes.

....and another lob for good measure:

Alexander-Walker was in control from the jump as he and Hayes combined to score the Pelicans' first 12 points of the game, leaving the team's coaching staff impressed with their immediate connection.

“It was exciting to see,” Pelicans Summer League coach Vinson said. “What a playmaker Nickeil is. To see him make plays like that all game long, I thought he really controlled the game.

"Jaxson, what can you say? His finishing, his hands were unbelievable, his presence on the defensive end was outstanding."

Hayes had the whole arena hyped in the second quarter with this posterising jam, that sent Twitter into meltdown.

Their third draft pick not-named Zion Williiamson, Marcos "Didi" Louzada Silva was also productive in his 25 minutes on court, recording 13 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks.
