DeMar DeRozan finished with 26 points and nine assists, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 25 on an efficiency 9-12 shooting and the Spurs won their fifth straight game. San Antonio is 13-3 over its last 16 games, the best record in the NBA over that stretch.


Celtics def. Nets, 116-95

Boston won with balance on Monday as eight different players including all five starters scored in double figures. That's the most double-digit scorers the Celtics have had in any game this season.


Rockets def. Nuggets, 125-113

James Harden scored 32 points and Clint Capela added a season-high 31 points as the Rockets beat the Western Conference-leading Nuggets by double digits. Harden also dished out 14 assists for his 10th game this season with at least 30 points and 10 assists, by far the most in the NBA (John Wall is next with three of them). The loss snapped a five-game win streak for Denver.


Bucks def. Jazz, 114-102

The Bucks rallied from 11 points down and remain the only team in the NBA without back-to-back losses this season. Milwaukee is now 11-0 this season in games immediately following a loss.

Another monster peformance for Anthony Davis who finished with 36 points and 13 rebounds. Davis came out of the blocks hot, scoring 19 points on 9-10 shooting in the first quarter.

The Lakers picked up a much needed win behind the efforts of Brandon Ingram who pumped in 29 points. The Lakers improve to 2-5 this season without LeBron James who has not played since suffering a groin injury on Christmas Day against the Warriors.



Trail Blazers def. Knicks, 111-101

It was a balanced scoring attack that picked up the win for the Blazers with seven players in double-figures.


Kings def. Magic, 111-95
