In case you missed the action from tonight's games here's a recap with the top performers, best game, top highlight and the final scores.

Game of the Night

There were plenty to pick from tonight with several games decided down the stretch, but the pick of the bunch was the battle in Phoenix between the Suns and the Atlanta Hawks.

In a game that featured 20 ties and 13 lead changes, the Suns rallied from a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit to snatch the W in the final minute to move to 5-3 on the season.

Frank Kaminsky put them in front for good (116-115) with 52 seconds to go with this emphatic jam, but it was the battle between Devin Booker and Trae Young that took centre stage.

Booker poured in 38 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Young led the Hawks with 31 points and 13 assists.

Highlight of the Night

Take your pick!

Luka Doncic had the home crowd hyped as he buried the stepback 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Mavs a 107-104 win over the Celtics.

Earlier in the night, Nikola Jokic had his own game-winning play for the Nuggets on the defensive end.

With time winding down and the Nuggets in front by a point, Rockets forward Jae'Sean Tate put up a potential game-winning layup, before Jokic rose up to erase the shot and seal the win!

It may not have been a game-winner, but the Chicago fans were loving it as Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine combined for the highlight-reel play.

In the first quarter against the 76ers, the Bulls duo combined for the Showtime alley-oop as Ball threw it off glass for LaVine to punch it home!

Performance of the Night

It's gotta be Luka!

In a back-and-forth battle with Jayson Tatum, Doncic had the last laugh draining the game-winner at the buzzer to cap off his 33-point display.

In front of their home crowd, Doncic (8) and Kristaps Porzingis (10) combined for 18 of the team's 28 fourth quarter points to give the Mavs their third win from their past four games.
