Curry finished with a game-high 36 points on 12-21 shooting which included going 8-14 from deep as the Warriors claimed the 117-107 road win over the Timberwolves.

The loss to the Spurs saw the Warriors tied atop the Western Conference standings, but Wednesday's win pushes them a half game clear of the Denver Nuggets.

Holding a 12-point halftime advantage, the Warriors kept the foot on the gas as Curry erupted in the third term by dropping 22 points.

Playing once again without DeMarcus Cousins, Aussie Andrew Bogut earned his second straight start after only landing in the States on Friday.

Bogut played a tick under 13 minutes as he ended the contest with two points, six rebounds and three assists as he continues to acclimatise to the squad.

Karl-Anthony Towns was at his dominant best, but they again failed to capitalise as they fall to their fourth straight loss.

Towns ended the game with 26 points, 21 rebounds and dished out four assists.

Golden State now return home for a three-game homestand that kicks off on Thursday when they host the Indiana Pacers.

The Wolves will look to snap their losing-streak when they travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets on Thursday.
