NBA Scores: Best game, highlights, top fantasy performers from Tuesday, November 2 (ET)

Just five games on a Tuesday night but there was plenty of action and performances to look back on with plenty of marquee teams taking the floor like the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat.

In case you missed the action from the slate, here's a recap with the top performers, best game, top highlight and the final scores.

Game of the Night

Surprisingly, the game of the night was the schedule-capper in Los Angeles. After getting blown out a couple of days earlier, the young and inexperienced Rockets put up more of a fight against the veteran Lakers.

LeBron James put up 30 points, 10 assists while Russell Westbrook nearly recorded a triple-double as the Lakers improved to 5-3 but only after escaping with a 119-117 win.

In a game with 13 lead changes and eight ties, the Rockets were led by 24 points from Jalen Green and a 26-point, 16-rebound double-double from Christian Wood.

Highlight of the Night

When should we stop getting surprised by this? Year 19 at age 36, LeBron James goes coast-to-coast and throws down the thunderous two-handed slam.

Performance of the Night

On a night when he passed legendary point guards Mark Jackson and Steve Nash on the all-time assists leaderboard for the third spot, Chris Paul dished out a season-high 18 assists in the Suns' comeback 112-100 win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

CP3 also posted 14 points and seven rebounds in 36 minutes of action.
