Tonight, we had three games with six NBA teams in action.

The night got off to a hot start when a scuffle broke out in the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics game. Aron Baynes and J.R. Smith got tangled on a rebound, which led to a Marcus Smart ejection. Ante Zizic performed well against his old team with 20 points and five rebounds and the Cavaliers secured the win.

The second game of the night was a thriller with the Memphis Grizzlies defeating the Indiana Pacers 109-104 in overtime. Rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. had 18 points and six rebounds, but the real highlight was a different Grizzlies rookie: Yuta Watanabe. Watanabe banked in a three to send the game into overtime and finished with 11 points off the bench. Pacers’ rookie Aaron Holiday looked great as well, scoring 20 points and blocking two shots.

In the late game, the Clippers defeated the LeBron-less Lakers 103-87. Lou Williams scored 19 points off the bench shooting 3-for-4 from three and Tobias Harris had 18 points and eight boards. Kyle Kuzma had a team-high 15 points and Rajon Rondo added 10 assists for the purple and gold.
