The greatest shooter in NBA history adds another record to his list.

In the Golden State Warriors' 121-104 Game 1 win over the LA Clippers, Stephen Curry exploded for 38 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists.

His 38 points came in part of eight 3-pointers - he went 2-for-4 in the first quarter but caught fire shortly thereafter.

Curry went 2-for-2 from three in the second and third quarters, not allowing the halftime break to cool him down.

He started the final frame on the bench but when a Clippers' run cut into the Warriors lead, head coach Steve Kerr sent Curry back in the game. He immediately buried a pair of 3-pointers, with the second of the two giving him the all-time playoff record for 3-point field goals made.

Curry now has 286 (and counting) made 3-pointers in the playoffs, surpassing Ray Allen while taking 80 less games to do so.

"That's pretty special," Curry told ABC's Lisa Salters in his post-game interview. "I always talk about longevity and the all-time great shooters, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller - any time you can pass them in the record books, it's pretty special. I shoot a lot of them, so I got to make a lot of them."

Curry will look to add to that total on Monday when the Warriors and Clippers get back at it for Game 2.
