The Philadelphia 76ers took care of the Brooklyn Nets in Game 3, 131-115, to take a 2-1 series lead and it looks like they will have to try and do it again without All-Star big man Joel Embiid.

After missing Game 3, Embiid has officially been listed as 'doubtful' for Game 4 on the NBA's official injury report as he continues to battle left knee tendinitis, which caused him to miss 14 games after the All-Star break.

Takeaways: Simmons explodes for career night in Brooklyn as 76ers take 2-1 series lead

In his absence, Ben Simmons stood tall, pouring in a playoff career-high 31 points, while Tobias Harris and JJ Redick lit it up from the 3-point line as Philly regained home-court advantage in the series.

Head coach Brett Brown told reporters at practice today that his “gut feel” is that the All-Star big man won't play, but they aren't yet ruling him out.

Embiid put up some 3s at practice in some Ugg slides before going through an individual workout. If he isn't ready to go, we will likely see more minutes from Greg Monroe, who started in Game 3, and Boban Marjanovic.

The duo combined for 23 points and 21 rebounds in Game 3, with Simmons spending some time at the five as well.
