The Detroit Pistons task of taking down the No. 1 seeded Milwaukee Bucks just got a bit tougher ahead of Game 1.

Heading into Fiserv Forum, the Pistons will head into the first clash without star forward Blake Griffin, who is listed as out.

ESPN's Malika Andrews was the first to report the news, with coach Dwane Casey explaining his knee was "too sore." 

Blake Griffin is OUT for Game 1 between the Pistons and Bucks, Dwane Casey said. He is still day-to-day.

Griffin missed the last game of the regular season due to the knee injury.
