Drake is following in Fred VanVleet's footsteps in not backing down from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As the Cavs made their way off the court at halftime, the Toronto native got stuck into Cavs backup big man Kendrick Perkins.

Drake, with his arm wrapped around Jose Calderon, exchanged unpleasantries with Perkins before J.R Smith stepped in to push his teammate away.

Sitting in his regular courtside seat, Drake has been a part of the action all game long after trying to get in the ear of LeBron James early on.

Following the Cavaliers Game 1 victory, Perkins and Drake got reacquainted with more players and security staff required to step in between the duo.

As Perkins was pushed towards the lockerroom by teammates he continued back at Drake who engaged with officials before exiting with his entourage.
