Prior to the 2020 NBA Draft, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson had suffered a lower leg injury in a workout.
The severity of the injury was not known at the time, but ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has since reported that Thompson has suffered a season-ending Achilles tear.
Fortunately, Thompson has been told to expect to make a full recovery, Wojnarowski added.
