About the NBA Pick 'Em Playoff Bracket Challenge
The NBA Pick 'Em Playoff Bracket Challenge gives NBA fans the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test, trying to select the winner of each playoff series all the way through to the NBA Finals, crowning the 2021 NBA champions.
Entrants will be awarded points by correctly predicting the NBA teams that will win each series in the 2021 playoffs, including the total number of games in each series. The points system can be found below:
Reminder for when you're filling out your brackets: upsets happen even in the NBA Playoffs!
Last year, we saw the No. 5-seeded Miami Heat make a run all the way to the NBA Finals after gaining momentum from upsetting the No. 1-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the second round. We also saw the No. 3-seeded Denver Nuggets pull off a miraculous comeback against the No. 2-seeded LA Clippers, winning the series after trailing 3-1 through four games.
It's not always the top seeds from each conference in the NBA Finals, so choose your upsets wisely!
NBA Pick 'Em Playoff Bracket Challenge rewards and prizes
All contestants 19 years or older in Canada to compete and win. The contest begins on May 17, 2021, at 4 a.m. Eastern Time and will run through May 27, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Grand Prize: $1,000,000 for a perfect bracket
The Grand Prize will only be awarded in the event that an entrant submits a perfect bracket. In order to have a perfect bracket, you must select the winning NBA team of each series and the number of games played in each series correctly. If no entrant submits a perfect bracket, the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
The Grand Prize is a one (1) lump sum payment of one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000USD).
One (1) First Prize winner: Courtside seats for two to one regular-season game
The person who finishes in first place will be rewarded with courtside seats for two people to one regular-season 2021-22 NBA game.
Four (4) Second Prize winners: Tickets for two to one regular-season game
The next four best entries will be rewarded with two tickets to a regular-season 2021-22 NBA game.
Five (5) Third Prize winners: $100 coupon code to NBAstore.com
The next five best entries will be rewarded with a $100 coupon code to NBAstore.com.
Fifteen (15) Fourth Prize winners: $50 coupon code to NBAstore.com.
The next 15 best entries will be rewarded with a $50 coupon code to NBAstore.com.
