NBA Odds: Los Angeles Lakers open as favourites to win 2021 NBA Championship, Toronto Raptors with eighth-best chance

#Lakers

The 2019-20 NBA season isn't over yet but it's never too early to look ahead, especially if your team isn't one of the two remaining for a chance to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Odds for the 2020-21 season are already out and according to the bookmakers, the NBA champion is likely to reside in the state of California.

The Los Angeles Lakers come in with the best odds to win the 2020-21 title at 4/1, followed by their cross arena rival LA Clippers at 5/1. The Golden State Warriors come in tied for the third-best odds at 9/1 with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Warriors are set to welcome back two-time league MVP Stephen Curry and All-Star Klay Thompson. The Dubs also hold the second overall pick in the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft which could add even more talent to an already proven roster.

The Bucks' main objective this offseason is to continue to build a contender around league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee fell short of their goal once again in 2019-20, so they'll be hungrier than ever to reach the top of the mountain in 2020-21.

The Toronto Raptors have plenty of questions to answer around their roster this off-season, but oddsmakers still believe they have a 16/1 shot at bringing the LOB back to the north in 2020-21.
