The Magic got the jump on the Clippers as they burst out to the 10-point lead after the opening frame. They extended their lead out to as many as 15 in the opening minutes of the second.

But then things started to turn and the home side rallied back.

Harris put the team on his back and dropped 10 points in the second quarter to help lift them out of the gloomy start and towards the big time win.

With season averages of 20.9 points and eight rebounds, Harris went above and beyond those figures as he ended with 28 points and nine rebounds. Marcin Gortat provided a big spark on both ends of the floor as he chipped in eight points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

The win pushes the Clippers clear of the Houston Rockets and gives them outright ownership of the fourth spot in the Western Conference at 23-16.

For the Magic, it was big man Nikola Vucevic who led the way as he stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 24 rebounds and eight assists. Despite the impressive start from the visiting side, they couldn't match the efforts of their opponents and now fall to 17-22 on the season.

The Magic, who have two games remaining on their current road trip, pay a visit to the Sacramento Kings Monday.

Los Angeles will look to keep their win streak alive when it welcomes Charlotte into town Tuesday.
