Nuggets continue Western Conference dominance by toppling Clippers at home

The Denver Nuggets continue to prove they're a force to be reckoned with as they easily accounted for the Los Angeles Clippers, 121-100 in front of their home crowd.

Nikola Jokic fueled the big win as he recorded his fifth triple-double of the season ending with 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

It pushes his career tally of triple-doubles to 21 and gives him three already in 2019 through the Nuggets' six games.

The Serbian centre showed why he's the best passing big man in the game by throwing this fullcourt on point pass to Jamal Murray.

Along with Jokic, Jamal Murray led the way offensively as he piled on 23 points and back up big man Mason Plumlee registered a season-high 17 points off the bench.

The win pushes the Nuggets to 28-12 on the season and gives them a 17-7 record over the Western Conference, by far and away the best record in the West.

Teams won't be looking forward to a trip into Denver any time soon, with the Nuggets winning their past 11 contests at home and holding a 17-3 overall record on their own court.

Lou WIlliams drove the Clippers offensively with 19 points off the bench as Danilo Gallinari and Tobias Harris both ended the contest with 18 points.

The loss snaps Los Angeles' three game win-streak and drops them to 24-17 and into fifth place on the standings, narrowly ahead of the Houston Rockets.

Denver will travel to Phoenix for a match against the Suns on Sunday, while the Clippers head to Detroit to tackle the Pistons and old teammate Blake Griffin on Sunday.
