Report: LeBron James set to return against Los Angeles Clippers

LeBron James is getting set to make his return to the court against the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The superstar hasn't played since injuring his groin in a Christmas Day clash against the Golden State Warriors. It marks the longest span of time off in his NBA career.

Without James in the lineup the Lakers have gone from fourth in the Western Conference to ninth in the standings.

The team has gone 6-11 in the time without James in the squad. On the season he has averages of 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists.‬

James' return in the battle of LA will be followed up by a showdown against the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors in Oakland.
