Welcome back to Head-to-Head!

In its second year, Head-to-Head returns as a fantasy game that is centred around how many points players score.

Every week, starting Dec. 7 through the remainder of the 2021-22 NBA season, five new matchups will be presented. In each matchup, all you have to do is pick which player you think will score more points in their game. For each correct pick, you earn points. The more points you earn, the more prizes you can receive.

However, there is one new twist this season: Head-to-Head will now keep track of streaks.

Fans with the longest streak (the most consecutive wins) over a specified six-week period can win $5,000. There will be three different six-week streak periods, meaning there is $15,000 total up for grabs over the course of the season!

Winners can also earn a video chat with an NBA All-Star, courtside tickets and more. There are weekly and season-long prizes, with over 190 prizes expected to be handed out this season.

You can find each matchup for Week 7 below.

Here's what you need to know about each matchup...

James Harden vs. Bradley Beal

Matchup: Nets vs. Wizards

Date/Time: Wednesday, Jan. 19 – 7:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA League Pass, SN Now

In a matchup between two of the best scorers in the league, Harden versus Beal should be a heavyweight fight. Beal's 23.7 points per game edge Harden's 22.7, but without Kevin Durant in the lineup, the Nets star should see some more scoring opportunities. However, it is worth noting that this game will be played in Washington, D.C., so Kyrie Irving will be available. In their only other meeting this season, Beal won the head-to-head matchup, scoring 19 points to Harden's 14.

CJ McCollum vs. Tyler Herro

Matchup: Trail Blazers vs. Heat

Date/Time: Wednesday, Jan. 19 – 7:30 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA League Pass

McCollum is back in action after missing time due to a collapsed lung, and he'll have a tough head-to-head matchup here against the Sixth Man of the Year favourite. Herro's 20.7 points per game give him a slight edge over McCollum's 20.4, but McCollum will see an uptick in shots without Damian Lillard (abdominal surgery) by his side. McCollum was absent for Portland's first contest against Miami, where Herro went for 16 points off the bench.

OG Anunoby vs. Kristaps Porzingis

Matchup: Raptors vs. Mavericks

Date/Time: Wednesday, Jan. 19 – 8:30 p.m. ET

Channel: SN One

Porzingis has the advantage in this one, with his 20.3 points per game average besting Anunoby's 19.2. Prior to a trip to the league's health and safety protocols list, Porzingis was playing some of his best basketball of the season, scoring 24 or more points in four straight games. In their only other meeting this season, Anunoby took the head-to-head scoring battle, going for 23 points to Porzingis' 18.

Domantas Sabonis vs. Andrew Wiggins

Matchup: Pacers vs. Warriors

Date/Time: Thursday, Jan. 20 – 10:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA TV Canada, SN Now

Sabonis' 18.9 points per game average just nearly beat out Wiggins' 18.5, but this is a toss-up that could go either way. Just over a week back, Sabonis went off for a career-high 42 points but he has yet to eclipse the 20-point mark since then. Wiggins has only averaged 14.4 points per game since Klay Thompson's return. In their only meeting this season, Sabonis went for 30 points to Wiggins' 15.

Ja Morant vs. Nikola Jokic

Matchup: Grizzlies vs. Nuggets

Date/Time: Friday, Jan. 21 – 9:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA League Pass

Two MVP candidates go head-to-head in this one. Jokic's 25.4 points per game edge Morant's 24.4 points per game but both players are a candidate for a major explosion. Morant has 10 games of 30-plus points on the season, including two 40-point games. Jokic has eight games of 30-plus points this season but has yet to score 40. They have split their two meetings so far, with Morant just beating out Jokic 26-23 in the first matchup, while Jokic went for 34 points to Morant's 18 in their second matchup.
