Welcome back to Head-to-Head!

In its second year, Head-to-Head returns as a fantasy game that is centred around how many points players score.

Every week, starting Dec. 7 through the remainder of the 2021-22 NBA season, five new matchups will be presented. In each matchup, all you have to do is pick which player you think will score more points in their game. For each correct pick, you earn points. The more points you earn, the more prizes you can receive.

However, there is one new twist this season: Head-to-Head will now keep track of streaks.

Fans with the longest streak (the most consecutive wins) over a specified six-week period can win $5,000. There will be three different six-week streak periods, meaning there is $15,000 total up for grabs over the course of the season!

Winners can also earn a video chat with an NBA All-Star, courtside tickets and more. There are weekly and season-long prizes, with over 190 prizes expected to be handed out this season.

You can find each matchup for Week 3 below.

Head-to-Head Week 3

Here's what you need to know about each matchup.

Scottie Barnes vs. Nikola Vucevic – Postponed

Matchup: Raptors vs. Bulls

Date/Time: Postponed

Channel: N/A

Because the Raptors do not meet the league minimum of eight players available to play, this game has been postponed. As a result, this head-to-head matchup will also be voided.

Christian Wood vs. Jrue Holiday

Matchup: Rockets vs. Bucks

Date/Time: Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA League Pass

Holiday's 17.3 points per game has a slight advantage over Wood's 16.9. In their lone meeting so far this season, Wood's 21 points edged Holiday's 12, but Giannis Antetokounmpo also went off for 41 points in that contest. Without Antetokounmpo (health and safety protocols) and Khris Middleton dealing with a knee injury, more scoring responsibilities may fall on Holiday.

Reggie Jackson vs. Harrison Barnes

Matchup: Clippers at Kings

Date/Time: Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA TV Canada

Barnes' 17.5 points per game is nearly identical to Jackson's 17.2 points per game. Barnes did not play in either matchup against the Clippers so far this season, but Jackson had 12 points in the first matchup and 18 in the second against the Kings.

Karl-Anthony Towns vs. Donovan Mitchell

Matchup: Timberwolves at Jazz

Date/Time: Thursday, Dec. 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET

Channel: NBA League Pass

Towns and Mitchell is far and away the best matchup on this list. Mitchell's 25.0 points per game has a slight advantage over Towns' 24.4, but Towns has been hot as of late. However, it is worth noting two things – One, Mitchell outscored Towns 36-22 in their only matchup this season and two, Towns has to deal with being guarded by Rudy Gobert. That might be enough to lean toward Mitchell in this one.

John Collins vs. RJ Barrett

Matchup: Hawks at Knicks

Date/Time: Saturday, Dec. 25 at 12:00 p.m. ET

Channel: TSN Network

Which player will show out on Christmas Day? Collins' 17.2 points per game edges Barrett's 15.1, but Barrett outscored Collins 15-12 in their matchup earlier this year. With that being said, the Hawks could be without star guard Trae Young (health and safety protocols) on Christmas, so Collins could be the team's No. 1 scoring option.
