Where to Watch (Tissot)

There's no shortage of NBA games to get excited about this week.

Even as most teams continue to navigate multiple players being in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, this week will see two of the leading MVP candidates take the floor against each other not once but twice, two of the best teams in the Western Conference battle and some of the league's best young point guards face the defending Western Conference champions.

The Trail Blazers also have a couple of important games as they look to find their rhythm.

Here's one game each day this week to mark on your calendar.

Monday, Dec. 27

Grizzlies vs. Suns (9:00 p.m. ET, League Pass): A chance to watch some of the best guards in the league in Ja Morant, Devin Booker and Chris Paul. This will be a good test for the Grizzlies, who have been a different team over the last month.

Also watch: The Hawks host DeMar DeRozan and the Bulls (7:30 p.m., NBA TV Canada).

Tuesday, Dec. 28

Nuggets vs. Warriors (10:00 p.m. ET, SN One): Both the Warriors and Nuggets are dealing with limited rosters right now, but it'll still be a treat watching two of this season's leading MVP candidates go head-to-head. Stephen Curry enters with four straight 30-point games while Nikola Jokic has recorded back-to-back 20-20 games.

Wednesday, Dec. 29

Jazz vs. Trail Blazers (10:00 p.m. ET, TSN): The Jazz and Trail Blazers are trending in opposite directions — whereas Utah has won eight of its last 10 games, Portland is 2-8 in its last 10. Still, Damian Lillard, who is averaging 31.7 points and 6.7 assists per game since his return from injury, will do his best to test the Jazz's defence.

Also watch: Lakers vs. Grizzlies (8:00 p.m., NBA TV Canada) for Morant, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.

Thursday, Dec. 30

Warriors vs. Nuggets (9:30 p.m. ET, SN One): Because watching Curry and Jokic play each other once this week isn't enough.

Also watch: 76ers vs. Nets (7:00 p.m. ET, SN One) to see some of the league's best players take the court in James Harden, Joel Embiid and, hopefully, Kevin Durant.

Friday, Dec. 31

Trail Blazers vs. Lakers (10:30 p.m. ET, SN One): Lillard is averaging 28.3 points per game against the Lakers in his career. The only team he has a higher career scoring average against is the Clippers (28.5). Ring in the New Year with some Dame Time.

Also watch: Suns vs. Celtics (1:00 p.m. ET, TSN) for an early New Year's Eve game with no shortage of star talent.

Saturday, Jan. 1

Warriors vs. Jazz (9:00 p.m. ET, SN 360): The Warriors and Jazz enter the week ranked first and third, respectively, in the Western Conference standings. A mid-season showdown between two title hopefuls.

Sunday, Jan. 2

Suns vs. Hornets (7:00 p.m. ET, TSN App): The Suns close the week with another matchup with one of the league's best young point guards in LaMelo Ball.
