Unrestricted free agent JJ Redick has reportedly agreed to join the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal will reportedly pay Redick $26.5 million over two years.

In two seasons in Philly, the 35-year-old provided a strong veteran presence and some much-needed 3-point shooting - two key needs for the young Pelicans roster alongside #1 pick Zion Williamson, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart.

Last season, Redick averaged a career-high 18.1 points per game on 44 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the 3-point line on eight attempts per game.

Players can negotiate agreements with teams on Sunday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. ET but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 6.
