Isaiah Thomas has gotten his opportunity.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the former All-NBA guard has agreed to a one-year deal with the Washington Wizards.

Thomas spent the entire 2018-19 season with the Denver Nuggets. He missed the first 56 games of the season due to the same lingering hip injury from the 2017 NBA Playoffs as a member of the Boston Celtics.

Thomas only played in 12 games this past season, averaging 8.1 points in 15.1 minutes per game before falling out of the rotation. The two-time All-Star looks to redeem himself after his first fully healthy offseason since 2016.

With possibility that John Wall might miss the entire 2019-20 season due to a torn Achilles and former Wizards point guard Tomas Satoransky inking a deal with the Chicago Bulls, Thomas should get a fair shot at a good chunk of playing time for the Wizards. He'll be battling with recently signed guard Ish Smith for minutes.

This will be I.T.'s seventh team over the course of his nine-year career.
