Through the first six or so hours of the 2019 NBA free agency, the Denver Nuggets have been quiet bystanders.

Murray had a breakthrough year last season, averaging 18.2 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds (all career-highs), while playing a huge role in the Nuggets making their first Conference Semifinals appearance in nearly a decade.
With the "Blue Arrow" signed up and Nikola Jokic on the books till 2023, the no. 2 seed from the last season has a strong young foundation in their super-talented international duo.
The new contract makes Murray the highest paid Canadian ever, eclipsing the five-year, $148 million dollar deal that Andrew Wiggins signed in 2017 with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Players can negotiate agreements with teams on July 1st but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 7.
