Phoenix Suns big man Dario Saric has sustained a torn ACL in his right knee, the team announced on Wednesday.

The Suns added that Saric will be out indefinitely.

Saric suffered the injury in Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals. He appeared to injure his knee on a drive to the basket in the closing minutes of the first quarter and immediately exited the game to be evaluated. He was soon ruled out for the rest of the game with a right knee injury.

Saric appeared in 50 games (four starts) with the Suns during the regular season, averaging 8.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.4 minutes. He shot 44.7 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from 3-point range.
