Jimmy Butler put on a show in Game 3 to bring the Miami Heat right back into the series, with a 115-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

With starters Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic missing Game 3, Butler was aggressive from the jump as he poured in his first career playoff triple-double with 40 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds, including some BIG buckets down the stretch.

Butler became the third player in NBA history to record a 40-point triple-double in an NBA Finals game, joining LeBron James (Game 5, 2015) and Jerry West (Game 7,1969) and joined James, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal as the only Heat players to post 30/5/5 in a playoff game, per NBA Stats.

With the Heat picking up their first win of the Finals, Butler's NBA peers had nothing but praise for his Game 3 heroics.
