The leaderboard for most NBA Championships by a player is dominated by members of the league's first and only decade-long dynasty - the Boston Celtics of the 1960s.

Hall of Famer and Celtics legend Bill Russell is at the top of the table, winning 11 titles in his 13-year playing career.

Russell's last two titles in 1968 and 1969, were in the dual role of a player and coach.

The only other non-Celtics members to feature on the top 10 list are Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

While Jordan and Pippen won all of their six championships together with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s via two three-peats, Abdul-Jabbar finished with six champions as part of two franchises - 5 with the Los Angeles Lakers and the 1971 title with the Milwaukee Bucks.
