Klay Thompson left Game 6 of the NBA Finals with a knee injury and did not return.

The five-time All-Star fell awkwardly following a dunk attempt in transition in the third quarter. He went to the floor, immediately grabbed his left knee and was eventually helped to the locker room.

Thompson quickly returned to take two free throws - otherwise he would've been ruled ineligible to play the rest of the game - but he was immediately removed afterwards so he could go to the locker room to get his knee checked out.

Thompson was later seen walking near the Warriors locker room with crutches.

Thompson was the game's leading scorer before his injury with 30 points. He made eight of his 12 shot attempts, including four of his six 3-point attempts.
