The Toronto Raptors will have one draft pick in the upcoming 2019 NBA Draft.
They'll have the 59th overall pick of the draft, which is the 29th pick of the second round. In the franchise's 24 years of history, they've only had 13 second round picks.
MORE: Which NBA players have been selected with the 59th pick?
The last time they selected a player in the second round was 2014, where they had two second round picks. They took DeAndre Daniels out of UConn at pick No. 37 and Xavier Thames from San Diego State at pick No. 59 - neither played a regular season game with the Raptors.
Of their 13 second round picks, only six players actually appeared in an NBA game.
Jimmy King (1995), Tyson Wheeler (1998), Roko Ukic (2005) and Uros Slokar (2005) all played for the Raptors, but none of the aforementioned played more than one season for the team.
As for notable second round picks, the Raptors selected PJ Tucker with the 35th pick of the 2006 NBA Draft and they took Quincy Acy with the 37th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft.
Tucker played in 17 games his rookie season with Toronto, but went overseas for five seasons before returning to the NBA. In 2017, Tucker made his way back to the Raptors via trade, finishing the season in Toronto - and doing his part in trying to stop LeBron James in the Playoffs that season - before signing with the Houston Rockets that offseason. He has now turned himself into one of the league's best, most consistent role players.
As for Acy, he played in 29 games for the Raptors his rookie season. After appearing in seven games his second year in the league, the Raptors traded Acy, with Rudy Gay and Aaron Gray, to the Sacramento Kings for Chuck Hayes, Patrick Patterson, John Salmons and Greivis Vasquez.
Acy has had a seven-year career in the league as a journeyman playing for multiple teams.
