The NBA Draft lottery is Tuesday night and the New York Knicks have a 14% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick, tied with the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers for the best odds of any team.

Regardless of where they pick, all eyes will be on the Knicks come draft night on June 20 as they have the opportunity to land a key building block.

Since drafting Patrick Ewing with the No. 1 overall pick in 1985, the Knicks have made 28 selections in the 1st Round. Of those 28 players, only three - Mark Jackson, David Lee and Kristaps Porzingis - made an All-Star team while playing for the Knicks. Both Lee and Porzingis never played for the Knicks again following their lone All-Star campaign with the team.

Of those 28 players, none played more than 10 seasons with the team. The only player who spent more than five seasons with the Knicks prior to leaving is Charlie Ward who played nine seasons with the Knicks before being traded in his 10th season.

Here is a look through their recent history of 1st-round picks dating back to that selection of Ewing in 1985.
