For NBA fans, Christmas Day is known for some of the best matchups of the regular season and this year's slate of games is nothing short of that. For the 11th straight year, the schedule is loaded up with some of the league's top talent and rivalries - 2018-19 NBA Christmas Day should not disappoint.

Who is playing and when?
12 p.m. - New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Where to watch: TSN
The first game of the day features Giannis Antetokounmpo and the surging Bucks against a young Knicks squad led by Tim Hardaway Jr. The game will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York City - a place where players will always bring their best performance under the City's bright lights.
Antetokounmpo has been as phenominal as expected so far this season and every time he steps on the floor he's producing insane stat lines. As for Hardaway Jr., he's been scoring at will this season and does not look to be slowing down any time soon.
3 p.m. - Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Where to watch: SN1 / SNE / SNO / SNW /SNP
Following that game will be Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder facing off against the reigning MVP James Harden and the Houston Rockets. This game will be played at the Toyota Center in Houston. The Thunder have the NBA's best defense and they'll need it to cool off Harden, who has been red hot lately trying to turn the Rockets season around.
Any time players like Westbrook, Harden, Paul George and Chris Paul compete on a stage like this, you know you're in for a treat (or a present, I should say).
5:30 p.m. - Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The early evening game will act as a rematch of the Eastern Conference semi-finals a season ago. Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and co. will look to avenge not only their playoff loss, but a loss on opening night of this season as well. The game will be played at the TD Garden in Boston.
Between the Celtics' loaded roster and seeing the level the Sixers are capable of competing at when they play their best, this could very well be a matchup in the Eastern Conference playoffs again this year.
8:00 p.m. - Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers

This five-game slate is highlighted by LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers versus the defending back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. This game will be played at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Every time the Warriors play it's been must-see basketball because of what Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant can do on the offensive end.
This marks the first matchup between Golden State and LeBron as a member of the Lakers. James versus the Warriors has become a staple for NBA fans on Christmas Day for the past three seasons and he looks to even the score as he's 2-1 against Golden State on the holiday.
10:30 p.m. - Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trail Blazers
Where to watch: SN1 / SNE / SNO / SNW /SNP
The last game of the night showcases two of the league's top guards in Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell as the Portland Trail Blazers travel to Utah to take on the Jazz. The game will be played at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, one of the most intense atmospheres the NBA has to offer.
Both of these teams qualified for the playoffs in the grueling West a season ago and it's likely they'll return back to the postseason again this year with the talent each roster has. It wouldn't be the craziest thing if this ended up being a preview of a potential Western Conference playoff matchup.
