The NBA continues to expand its reach across the globe, with 107 international players from 41 countries on opening night rosters at the start of the 2020-21 season.

In 2019, international players dominated the end-of-season awards, taking home MVP, Most Improved, Rookie of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year. A year later, Greek national Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the MVP and DPOY.

So, with international players taking the league by storm, it comes as no surprise that the 2021 NBA All-Star game will feature a record eight international players from eight different countries.
