On Tuesday (ET), the NBA announced the pool of 14 players that will be reserves in the 2021 All-Star Game.

Donovan Mitchell Jaylen Brown
Paul George Jayson Tatum
Zion Williamson Zach LaVine
Anthony Davis Julius Randle
Rudy Gobert Nikola Vucevic

The NBA's 30 head coaches selected the 14 reserves for this year's game. Each coach voted for seven players in their respective conferences, selecting two guards, three frontcourt players and two "wild card" players at either position. Coaches are not permitted to vote for players on their own team.

As the leading vote-getters in their respective conferences, LeBron James and Kevin Durant will serve as captains in the fourth-ever NBA All-Star Draft on a date that has yet to be determined. The captains will first choose from the pool of eight starters before selecting from this pool of 14 All-Star reserves.

In the event that any player is unable to play in the All-Star Game, Commissioner Adam Silver will select a replacement player from the same conference as the player who is being replaced.

The 70th NBA All-Star Game featuring Team LeBron vs. Team Durant will take place on Sunday, March 7 (ET).
