This was the second time Gordon finished as the runner-up after also finishing second to Zach LaVine in 2016.
"I still feel like I'm one of the best, if not the best dunker in the world, so I still feel that," Gordon said to ESPN's Rachel Nichols after the loss.

As per ESPN Stats & Info, Gordon joins Dominique Wilkins as the only two players to finish as runners-up in the Dunk Contest twice. However, Wilkins did win it on two other occasions - 1985, 1990.
"We're here to do four dunks. It should be the best out of four dunks. I did four straight 50s - five straight 50s. It's over. It's a wrap. Let's go home," Gordon said in the press conference.
He concluded the presser by saying - "My next go is going to be to try and win the 3-Point contest."
