MyNBA updates

MySTAFF goes next level

Running an NBA franchise on NBA 2K just got a whole lot more in-depth with the updated MySTAFF.

NBA 2K22 gives players full control of their organisations, with plenty of new roles in coaching to scouting to sports medicine staff, with a total of 17 staff positions, including new attributes and badges for staff.

  • Front Office (Governor, GM, Assistant GM, CFO)
  • Coaching (Head Coach, Shot Doctor, Bigman Coach, Post Defence Coach, Perimeter Defence Coach, Guard Guru, Wing Whisperer)
  • Scouting (Head Scout, 4 Domestic Scouts, 2 Foreign Scouts)
  • Sports Medicine (Team Doctor, Strength Trainer, Stamina Trainer, Sports Psych, Sports Science, Physio, Sleep Doctor)

"We redesigned how your staff works from the ground up. New attributes, more than double the staff badges, and a slew of new roles. We've completely reimagined this aspect of the mode and are proud to show off the newest addition - MySTAFF."

New pre-built custom teams

If you want to play with expansion or rebranded teams, 2K is saving you time creating logos and uniforms with three new pre-built teams.

  • Bronx Brawlers
  • Honolulu Breeze
  • Omaha Airmen

Training and coaching updates

One of the new features on offer is 'conditional coaching' which allows you to give coaching directives and employ certain strategies for specific instances in simulated games, e.g. garbage time which allows you to put in your rookies to get experience in blowouts.

Meanwhile, the training and preparation are even more realistic. The individual training offers refined skill development and training focus, while the team training incorporates load management to optimise players game fitness and tailor their practices accordingly.

The new 'Prep Hub' helps players manage fatigue, training and development, with a focus on upcoming games, including scouting reports for future opponents.
