NBA2K Daily: The season goes on virtually with Monday's NBA schedule simulated on NBA 2K20

With the actual regular season suspended indefinitely, we're left without our daily NBA fix. In order to try and fill that vacancy in your life, we're here to give you a simulated version of the real NBA schedule on NBA 2K20 each day!

With the rest of last week unaccounted for, we're picking things up this week with daily updates to follow.

Below we have you covered with today's schedule, top performers, obscure stat lines, key results, other news and an updated playoff picture!

Key wins, losses, upsets

• Just like in real life, the Bucks only needed a handful of minutes from Giannis Antetokounmpo for him to completely dominate and pick up a win over a competitive Heat squad. The Greek Freak had 31 points and 10 rebounds shooting 13-for-15 from the field. So much for Bam Adebayo's DPOY case mentioned a few weeks back when Miami beat Milwaukee.

• The Spurs desperately needed a win over the Grizzlies to try and keep their playoff hopes - and 22-year playoff streak - alive, and they came up way short. Like, 30-point blowout at home short. For the first time in 22 seasons, it appears that head coach Gregg Popovich will be able to book a nice vacation at the end of April.

• The Clippers handled the Mavericks in what could be a first-round playoff series, with Kawhi Leonard showing the Luka Doncic who the man of that series will be. The 21-year-old phenom will have to hit the film room if he's going to outplay the reigning Finals MVP come playoff time.

Top virtual performers

Giannis Antetokounmpo - 31 points, 10 rebounds, 13-15 FG

Anthony Davis - 38 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals

Joel Embiid - 28 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks

LeBron James - 23 points, 11 assists, 7 rebounds

Kawhi Leonard - 35 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals

Pascal Siakam - 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks

Jonas Valanciunas - 16 points, 22 rebounds, 2 blocks

Obscure stat lines

DeMar DeRozan - 1-7 3PT. DeMar took 11 shots and seven of them were 3s. It's no wonder the Spurs were blown out by 30.

Trae Young - 12 points, 3-8 FG. Only eight shot attempts? The simuation system has to do a better job of getting Trae the rock.
