NBA 2K Players Tournament Day One Results

(1) Kevin Durant [LA CLIPPERS] vs. (16) Derrick Jones Jr. [MILWAUKEE BUCKS] - Jones Jr. advances.

An outside shooting clinic helped Jones Jr. pull off the early upset to advance in the 2k Players Tournament.

(7) Zach LaVine [MIAMI HEAT] vs. (10) Deandre Ayton [HOUSTON ROCKETS] -- Ayton advances.

A strong performance from James Harden was too much for the Miami Heat to handle and Ayton will move on in the second consecutive upset of the tournament.

(2) Trae Young [MILWAUKEE BUCKS] vs. (15) Harrison Barnes [TORONTO RAPTORS] -- Young advances.

It was a blow out in this one, as Tray Young led from start to finish to advance to the next round.

(3) Hassan Whiteside [LOS ANGELES LAKERS] vs. (14) Patrick Beverley [MILWAUKEE BUCKS] -- Beverley advances

Pat Bev was at his trash talking best as the Milwaukee Bucks blew out the Lakers, helping Beverley advance to the second round in the third 'upset' out of four games.

Team selection

Each player has been assigned eight teams that they can choose from.

The catch: they can't be the same team twice, so players must choose wisely as they try and win four-consecutive games with four different teams to be crowned champion.
