In Saturday afternoon's loss to the Clippers, the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounpmo's 27 points, 18 rebounds, five steals and four assists. For the season, Antetokounmpo is now averaging 25.7 points, 13.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists. Milwaukee's scoring efforts were also aided by Malcolm Brogdon, who finished with 23 points and Brook Lopez, who sank six of 12 3-point attempts en route to 20 points.

Lopez, who signed as a free agent this offseason, has been a welcome addition in Milwaukee; his 2.6 made 3-pointers per game is first among all centres this season . His ability to spread the floor and knock down 3-pointers will present a defensive challenge for Nuggets star centre Nikola Jokic.

3-point shooting will be a key in tonight's game, as the Bucks' 15.1 made 3-pointers per game is first in the league , while the Nuggets' allow the fifth fewest 3-pointers per game at 9.7 .

Denver Nuggets

After beginning the season at 9-1, the Nuggets have lost two consecutive games, each decided by two points.

On Wednesday, two free throws from Marc Gasol with 4.6 seconds left in the game proved to be the difference as Memphis defeated Denver 89-87. Jokic, who is averaging 17.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 7.0 assists on the season, finished with just four points, seven rebounds and four assists - his lone field goal attempt was a 3-pointer that would have won the game.

Friday, Jokic bounced back from an off night with 37 points and 21 rebounds, but a floater from Caris LeVert with 0.3 seconds remaining resulted in a 112-110 win for the Nets. It was the Nuggets first home loss of the young season.

Despite the loss, Denver is dominant at the Pepsi Center. Dating back to last season, the Nuggets are 37-11 at home and they have lost consecutive games at home just once in the past two years. This year, Denver has already defeated the Warriors and Celtics in the confines of their home arena, where they average 7.1 more points per game than they do on the road.
