Delon Wright has recorded the first triple-double of his career.

The former Raptor point guard posted 26 points (10-19 FG), 14 assists and 10 rebounds, leading this Memphis Grizzlies to a 122-112 road win over the Dallas Mavericks.

His 26 points and 14 assists were a career-high, and Wright also finished the contest with zero turnovers to make the performance that much more impressive.

Since being traded to the Grizzlies, Wright has done a solid job of filling up the box score.

The third-year guard is averaging 11.7 points, 4.9 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals on 29.8 minutes in 23 games.

This was just the second time he's reached double-digits assists in Memphis, but he's scored in double-figures in 14 of the 23 games.

Wright was one of two young promising players to be sent in the deal to the Grizzlies for Marc Gasol.

Big man Jonas Valanciunas was playing fantastic basketball with his new team, but has been shut down for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.

However, in the long-term, it looks like Memphis did a great job in getting good return value on their former franchise centre.
