Doncic is now just one triple-double shy of tying Jason Kidd's franchise record of 21.

After a back-and-forth first half which featured 10 ties and nine lead changes, the Mavericks entered the break up 71-67, before seizing control of the game in the third.

They opened the second half on a 12-3 run, powered by Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr., who knocked down a pair of threes in the run.

Doncic was on a mission in the third, recording 11 points, six rebounds and six assists - none better than this cross-court special to Dorian Finney-Smith for three.

The Kings entered the fourth quarter down 15, rallying down the stretch on a 14-6 run to cut the deficit to 126-123 off a Harrison Barnes three. Seth Curry split a pair of free throws to put the Mavs up by four and hand the Kings their third-straight loss.

Curry finished with 21 points off the bench, Hardaway Jr. added 18 and Maxi Keleber posted 14, while Dwight Powell recorded a near double-double of 17 points and nine rebounds.

For the Kings, De'Aaron Fox led the way with 27 points and 12 assists, while Buddy Heild added 25 and Harrison Barnes 25 points and eight rebounds.
