Yahoo! Sports' Shams Charania reports that Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball tore his meniscus in his left knee.

The report indicates that Ball should be ready to return to action by training camp.

Although he missed 30 games with a sprained MCL, Ball earned All-Rookie Second Team Honours last season. The 6-6 guard averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 assists and 6.9 rebounds in 52 regular season games.
