The Los Angeles Clippers outscored their visitors in every quarter to clinch a 25-point win against the Boston Celtics for their fifth straight victory overall.

Lou Williams top-scored with 34 points off the bench on 14-of-20 shooting, with five assists and four rebounds. The Los Angeles franchise had six other players score in double figures, while shooting 61.6% from the field which helped them overcome their 20 turnovers.

En route to his game-high points tally, Williams became the all-time leading scorer off the bench in NBA history.

Clinching their 39th win of the season, the Clippers have now overtaken the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz for the sixth seed in the West.

Meanwhile, this was a gut-wrenching loss for the Celtics, who were riding a three-game win streak on their west coast swing. They had a chance to go undefeated on this road trip and inch closer to battle for the third seed in the East, instead, they lose their last game on the trip and are remain 1.5 games behind the fourth-seeded Indiana Pacers.

Terry Rozier scored 26 points off the bench, while Kyrie Irving recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 assists. Jaylen Brown put up 22 points, seven rebounds, and two steals but it was simply not enough.
