Lonzo Ball is set for a fresh chapter in his career, signing new representation with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

"After thinking about this decision over the last few weeks, I concluded that CAA made the most sense for my career both on and off the court," Ball said. "With CAA now in place to manage my basketball career, I can focus my attention and energy on training for the upcoming season."

Last week Ball split from his agent Harrison Gaines, who represented him since he left UCLA to turn pro in 2017, saying that the decision was not related to the lawsuit against Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster. Ball is suing Foster for damages of 'at least $2 million' after Foster allegedly could not account for money that was missing from Ball's personal and business accounts.

Ball told Shelbourne that he met with several different agencies as he looks to take control of his off court business affairs after cutting ties with Big Baller Brand, the family company he owns 51% of.

Specualtion began to grow last week that Ball could sign a deal with Nike after he posted this photo to his Instagram.

CAA has a strong list of names in Hollywood as well as the NBA, representing Chris Paul, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, D'Agelo Russell, Karl-Anthony Towns, Dwyane Wade Paul George.
