There are now only two players that have scored more points than LeBron James in NBA History.
On Saturday, the 35-year-old passed fellow Laker great Kobe Bryant on the all-time scoring list with a driving layup in the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers' meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Wearing LeBron 17s that read "Mamba 4 Life. 8/24 KB" for Bryant, the four-time MVP entered the night 17 points shy of Bryant and surpassed him into the second half as he drove into the lane to finish through traffic.

James entered the season 1,100 points shy of third place and needed just 44 games to reach this milestone. He now trails only Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) on the all-time scoring list.
After passing four players over the last two seasons, James is over 3,000 points away from Malone and fewer than 5,000 points behind Abdul-Jabbar.
In his 17th season, James has not shown any sign of slowing down as he is averaging 25.2 points per game.
