It appears as though the LA Clippers newly-formed All-Star duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard won't be ready to start the season. While Leonard says he's "feeling good," George is not ready for live action just yet.

George, who underwent surgeries to repair his right rotator cuff and a partial tear of his left labrum in June, told reporters at media day that he will be a limited participant in training camp as he rehabilitates each of his shoulders.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne has reported that while there is no set date for his return, George has expressed that he will miss training camp and expects to be back in action by November.

In the accompanying article, George is quoted saying that he has "a little ways to go" in his rehab, adding "I'm where I want to be right now at this point in the season almost starting. I like where the progression is going."

With George slated to miss the entire month of October, he will be on the sidelines during the Clippers' opening-night meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 22, the first of six regular-season games in the month. The Clippers take on the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs to close October.

With a potential debut coming against the Jazz on Nov. 3, the MVP finalist would miss at least four games against Western Conference opponents that made the playoffs last season.

More updates on George's status to come when made available.
