USA Basketball today announced the pool of 57 finalists for consideration to make up the 12-man roster at the 2021 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Among the finalists are Toronto Raptors guards Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet. Lowry, who won Olympic gold in 2016 while representing the United States in Rio, was part of a preexisting 42-man list, while VanVleet was one of 15 recent additions to the pool.

San Antonio Spurs forward DeMar DeRozan, who also won gold in 2016, is among the 57 finalists as well. LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard recently indicated that he plans on competing for Team USA at the Olympics, which are set to begin on Friday, July 23.

Winners of the gold medal at the last three Olympic Games, Team USA will be led by Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich in 2021. Popovich succeeds Duke University's Mike Krzyzewski, who was appointed as head coach in 2005.

While the official 12-man roster will be announced later this year, find the pool of 57 players below.
