Kyle Kuzma agrees to a three-year extension with Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers busy offseason has continued.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Kyle Kuzma has agreed to a three-year, $40 million extension with the Lakers.

The 25-year-old played an important role off the bench for the Lakers in their championship run, averaging 10 points per game in 23 minutes of playing time.

Kuzma was the 27th overall pick in the 2017 draft and holds career averages of 16.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game across 208 appearances. The deal is reported to include a player option for the 2023-24 season.

The Lakers open their season against the LA Clippers this week as they begin their pursuit of back-to-back titles.
